White Honey

I am a fabricator working with a Honey White "granite" for a local clients' kitchen project. This stone concerns me because it appears to be a gneiss-type stone that may make sealer impregnation an impossibility. Since the selection of this stone was done by the designer and general contractor, I am weary of potential sealing concerns by the client.
Any advice on this stone's treatment? Thanks!
