I love the look of honed black granite, but have read the many comments about the difficulties of maintaining it.
What I'd like to know is what is a good, low maintenance alternative? I do not want a high-polish, and would like the color to be black, or near-black. I don't particularly want a lot of pattern/variation. Is there something that you would recommend that would approximate the look of honed black granite but with better maintenance properties?
