Care of Baltic Brown

I have heard many conflicting reports on the care of granite based on the type and whether or not its considered true granite.  Does anyone have Baltic Brown and can you recommend cleaning and maintenance info?  My countertops were brand new in the house we purchased and I know nothing about the care and don't want to screw up my finish, as it is all shiny and beautiful right now.
