Which method is better to remove sealer

After scouring the forums, I've learned that on my imperial black granite (actually basaltic rock) kitchen counters that the sealer has actually been etched by organic compounds (i.e. soft water) and the stone is not "stained". Thus the sealer should be removed so I can enjoy my kitchen counters as mother nature intended. I see that Maurizio suggests at least 2 methods in removing sealer from my black imperial kitchen counters. 1st method suggests using a paint stripper based w/ Methylene Chloride. 2nd method suggests using a polisher and oxalic acid.

Which method is preferred? Any other suggestions?

Regards and thanks for reading.

Chris
