Tropical "Kerala" Green Granite and other question

Hello,  I would like to pay the $20 consultation free to have the following questions answered.

We are thinking of having Tropical "Kerala" Green granite countertops installed in our new kitchen. We know there is another type of Tropical Green or " Tropical Verde" granite, but the one we are considering is Indian Tropical "Kerala" Green.

I'd like to know if this type of granite is thought to be durable and suitable, or if it stains easily, and whether or not it should be polished, honed, sealed, whatever. I know Maurizio is fond of saying it is more the fabricator than the actual granite to be considered, and since we are carefully researching fabricators here in Hawaii, I'd like an expert answer on our choice of stone.

Also, we were considering either porcelein tile (Antracite Ardesia) or Travertine in our front entryway, but after reading the board I'm not sure if travertine is a wise choice. The travertine we are looking at is called 18X18 Ahinahina. Which is a better choice in terms of durability and maintenance? Should porcelein tile be used in bathrooms?

We are also considering using Indianstone Malachite porcelein tile in the kitchen. I know Maurizio has very definitive opinions on what is suitable for kitchen flooring (NO SLATE!) so I want to hear his valued opinion! Thanks for your time and if you think we would require a telephone consult I would be happy to pay for it. Tracy Thompson.
