Six weeks ago I had a slate patio installed. I pressure washed it today in prepartion for sealing it but was not able to remove spots that have developed. I think the color is California Gold. It is predominately brown/rust with some greens. The spots only developed where the slate is exposed to the sun. The spots are rust in tone. Any suggestions to remove them? Muratic acid?
